My Long Vacation......

If you have a week vacation, what do u want to do? Will u choose to stay at home or hang out with friends? 27November2008, is thaksgiving day, as my school has a week holiday. To me, this holiday is my last long holiday during the school time. Therefore, I don't want waste my vocation that I want do something that I want to do. Actually, I don't like move a lot, I enjoy stay at home with my boyfriend or eat dinner with my relatives.

As long as the vacation time, I choose to be with my boyfriend first. As we will seperate in two different countries soon, so we don't want miss any chance to stay with each other. Hence, during the holiday, we went out shopping, eating and went to the beach. Of course, I would like to stay in my dorm with him. I like cooking food with him, and invited our friend that eat together. During the dinner time, we talked a lots. However, wen we talked about the day that we have to seperate, everyone suddenly keep selience and felt sad. At that time, I wish I could stop the time and stay with my friends longer and longer.

Moreover, thanksgiving day is a day that people gathering with family or relatives. Therefore, I went back to my relatives home and ate dinner with them. They cooked a lot of good food, such as turkey, ham and seafood,etc. After dinner, my cousin also cook the desert for me. Even though I am not in my hometown, but I couldn't feel any lonely. I feel so lucky that I have good relatives in America. After one month, I have to seperate with my relatives here, but I won't forget how good that they treat me.

During thanksgiving day hoilday, I could stay with my boyfriend and ate dinner with my relatives. This is my first time to celebrate this big festival in America, but I never forget this holiday. I know the happy always run fast and short. However, the good memory is mine and I won't forget it.Finally, I hope I still can keep the good relationship with my boyfriend and relatives in the furture.

Thank You to Three of You!!!!

Thankgiving day is coming soon. This is my first time to celebrate this festerival in America. As I know, it is quite of big festival in America, everyone doesn't have to work and family get to gather and have a big tucky meal!! Also, people used to share about the things that they are thankful for last year after meal. To me, if I need thanks for three things in this year. I want to thank you my parents, ALP and my boyfriend. Why I need thanks to them in this year? It is because they have changed my life in this year!!

Frist of all, the most important people who I need to say thank you in this year are my parents. Of course, to me, from the day I was borned in the world, I need thank you them to give their love to me, and take care of me even though I am not a good daughter. But this year I need specially thanks to them, because they sent me to America to learn English. As I know study aboard is not cheap to foreign students. However, my parents work so hard and give me the chane to study in America. They know English is really important nowadays, so they want me improve my English skills that can build up my job competition. Even though I am in America, they still non-stop to contact with me every day, like phone call and web-cam. I can feel that they really worry about me becuase this is the first time that I need seperate with them in different countries for long time. Therefore, I pound of my parents and I hope I can provide a good living condition to them as soon as possible.

Moreover, I need to thanks to ALP. From this January, I study in ALP for almost eleven months. In these eleven months, ALP has changed my life. Before I came to America, my English is very poor, and I have no confident to talk in front of English native speakers. Therefore, I have a hard time at the beginning in America. I scared to write an eassy and talk with American students. Luckily, after I took ALP classes, I can see the improvement of my English. Teachers in ALP are very kind and helpful. They know how to teach English and know the weakness English parts of foreign students. Hence, I can improve my Englsih effective. Also, the students in ALP are from vourious countries, so that I have a lot of chances to speak in Englsih. "Practice makes prefect." . Nowadays, even though I cannot speak like a native speaker, but at least I won't feel scared to talk with native people.

Finally, I have to thank you to my boyfriend, Matthew. Why I need thank you to him? Of course not only thank you him to give me his love, but also I need to thank you him that he helps me to overcome many problems in USA. Although I have relatives in USA, they cannot take care of me always because they are so busy. As I am not so independent and this is the first time that I live by myself, so I feel scared to face the problems. My boyfriend actually lives with his relatives, but he still try hard to stay with me and take care of me. He really care of my health and daily life. When I get sick, he takes care of me and does many things for me. In my eyes, I feel so warm and I know he is not pretend to do it. Because me and him also are foreign students in USA, so we get used to take care each other and help each other to slove the problems. Moreover, my boyfriend English grammar and vocabulary are better than me, so he always help me to learn more new English words and correct my grammar mistakes. Sometimes, I feel so tired on American life, but because of him, I have energy to keep going to stay in USA and learn English. Even though we will go back our own countries very soon, but I will try my best to keep our relationship. As I think everything depends on preson, not the other reasons. Therefore, I have full confident that we can overcome the international love problems.

In this year, I have a lot of unforgettable experience that I never had. I feel so happy that I can study in America and learn many different things. ALP can change my lives, and help me to improve my English. To sum up this year, I get more than I loss. I hope I can get more good experience in my furture and I never forget what I did in America. In conclusion, I have to thank you all of you who have appeared in my America life.

As Time Goes By

"The time ran so fast!!" We always hear people sigh out their grief. It is the true, time never tells lie, it won't wait for people. To look up the first day to attend the fall semester, now I just have one more month remian. It seems I just met the new classmates yesterday. However, it almost the time to say goodbye with them. How can I catch the time?? As I cannot turn the time back, so I need to enjoy the remain time with my friends and classmates in ALP.

In ALP, I meet many students from different countries. We get used to study together, play together and go a trip together. However, after ALP, we need sperate to acheives our different goals. Some of them will study in USA, some of them might go back to their own countries. To me, I will go back Hong Kong on next January too. It means we need seperate finally and don't know when can we see again. Everytime when I think about that, my tears canot stop to come out.

Sometimes, I would like to think if the time can return back. Is that I can go back some moments that I like? But if I need to face the sadness matter again, is that I still want to return my time? However, after I think it twice, I think I don't want return my time . Certainly, I always memory the happy time that I had, and that that memory will be along me forever, but I don't know my furture, so I have to continue my life and see what I will be. We want our life keep going and have many different kinds of experience. For me, of course I cannot forget the wonderful time in ALP becuse the memory in here is mind . Nevertheless, I still want to get more beautiful memory in my life. Hence, I want keep going my life so that I can know what kinds of job I can get, the time I can get marry and have my own babies. These are the most powerful things to push me that never give up my life!!

Happy time always goes fast, as hard time seems never ends. In these ten months in ALP, I have many unforgettable experiences that I never had before. Also, I can improve my English skills and learn how to be an inderpendent person. Of course the big benifit to me in ALP is that I can make many friends . Not only I can know many different kinds of cultures from them, but also I can make many good memory with them. Even though they cannot stay with me in Hong Kong, but their pictures and our memory can stay with me forever. Whenever I feel blue, I can take out our pictures and make myself happier.

"Friendship never ends." If there are really true friendships, the relationship will never ends wherever we are. Sometimes, we can go to each countries to travel, or we can keep contact on email or see each other on web-cam. Therefore, we seems never sperate . Finally, I hope no matter I am in Hong Kong or the other places, my friends won't forget me and our friendship can till the end of the world.

In U.S.A., November 4, 2008 is an important day to every Amercia citizen. A new president will come out on that day and leader America at the coming 4 years. Accoroding to the election result, Obama finally got win and will be a new leadership in America. He is the first American Africian to be America president. Also, because the bad economic and abundant wars occured in America, people used to choose Obama politicial party, Decomcratic, to help people to come out from the bad environment. To me, I feel happy that Obama can get won in this election. I think the colour of human skin is not a big matter to be a president. The main important things that whether the president can help the country be peaceful and having a good economy.

These eight years, Amercian economic is turning down and many wars make millions Army died. However, Republician seems cannot help USA to come out from the bad suituation. Also, president Bursh just non-stopping make wars with other countries. These kind of things make American feel disappointed to Republician. Therefore, Obama is a new hope to American. He always say that he can change Amercian destiny and his policy is to improve America economic. This is a good timing to help him to attract more supportors. When people feel hopeless, they want find the new ways to change the predicament. Hence, people would elect Obama to be a new president.

Moreover, the age of president is another reason that I concern for. Certainly, age is not according the ability of work. Some people think that eaderly people have much more political experience. However, to me, Mc Cain is too old to be a president because he is 74 years old. He seems like my grandfather. Actually, he might have full experience to be a political person more than Obama, but he also lose many vigors to be a persident. Being a persident, he need have much political experience, creative, and energy. Because a president have a lot of matters need to care, so if he is too old, he cannot forcus on his job. In addition, haing a good Vice President is impotant to get win in the election. Unluckily, the Vice President of Republician is too young that haven't got enough political experience. In fact, age is so important to be a president.

Obama finally can be a new president. He can help all of the black skin people to acheive the America dream. Also, he always say that it is possible to achieve the goal if we never give up to do anything. From his example, I can see that nothing is impossible. When we want to do something, just try to do it!! I really respect Obama philosophy and feel so happy that he caould win in the president election. I really hope he can change the America economy be better and stop the wars. As a result, the global economy will be getting better ,and every Army can go back home and stay with their families!!

What is My Finally Goal In My Life??

Different people have different dream or goal in their lives. Some of them think get a lot of money is the most important thing, some of them think to have a wonderful family are their finally goal in their lives. To me, I don't need too rich or too success in my job. However, I really hope I can have my own prefect family. In fact, my ideal life is having my own family, including husband and my children.

Having a lot of money are many people goal in their lives. Therefore, people need busy working all the day even though they don't eat or haven't time to stay with family. However, when they think they earn much money, their health are turning bad at that time, so they cannot eat many good food or go traveling. Also, some of their family members getting old or have already died. Then, people suddenly discovered no matter how much money that they can earn , they cannot buy their health or the time to be with their family. Hence, I don't need earn too much money,because having a warm family life is the most important thing to me. Of course, we still need work for our daily life, but we still need find some time to stay with our family. The time to stay with family is limited, we cannot miss the time to be with our parents, husband and our children.In fact, I am sure I will enjoy every second to stay with my family.

Moreover, I think people cannot lack of marry during their lives. Marry seems a necessity process in our life. I saw many people that they chose not getting marry in their lives. They think get marry is not the important thing in their lives. They would rather get busy on their work or do something else, but not under the family control. In addition, they aldo think they won't feel bored if they have a lot of friends. However, as time goes by, when they are getting old, they finally found that actually they need someone who can stay with and take care of them. It is because their friends also have their own families, and their friends cannot stay with them all the time. On the other hand, our spouse can do it. They can be with us whenever we need, they can accoompany us to face both happiness and sadness. As a result, having a spouse is so important to me more than the other things.

In our lives, we have many different processes, such as student time, working time ,get marry, and die. My finally Goal in my life is having my own family. I hope I have a good husband and cute children. Even though it is not a easy to achieve, but i will try my best to suceess my finally goal!!!!

To Look Back My Writing Skills

Having a good writing skill is important to learn well English. Writing is including paragraphs structure, sentences structure, grammars structure, and right vocbabulary. To me, writing is my wrost part of English. It is because my gammar is not good, vocabulary is not enough, and the main problems to my writing is that ,I don't know how to writing a good essay. In fact, I have to go to America to study English. Most of all, I need to improve my writing skill in ALP classes. As time goes by, I have already studied in ALP for 9 months. Luckily, my writing teachers in ALP are so good. They know how to teach writing and help me to improve my writing skills.

.

Writing is difficult to learn well. Many people say even though native speakers also cannot write a good essay. Writing a good essay need have a good organization, right grammar structure. Also, we cannot miss some transition words, examples and reasons to make the essay looks more coherence and logical. To me, before I took the ALP writing, my writing skill was so poor, I don't know what is thesis statement, and I have no idea about the supporting sentence and how to make the paragraphs be coherence. But now, I can learn many different writing skills from my writing teachers. The reason that I can improve my writing skill in these few months is because I have many writing practice chances . Nowadays, I know how to write an organization essay finally.

Moreover, I learned how to aviod the fragment that appeared in my essay. I always miss the verb form inside the sentence because of my grammar problems, so it won't be a complete sentence and teachers named that "fragment". Therefore, I have to double check my sentences after i finished the essay. I need to see whether I write the correct verb form in the sentences, so that I can avoid the fragment sentence can be found in my essay. This is what I feel happy to see my essay becomes better.

"Practice makes perfect", there is no ending to me to learn more writing skills. Hence, I have to keep going to improve my writing , like grammar and vocabulary. Using correct grammar and vocabulary are the way to write a good essay. Because I haven't got enough English vocabularies, so that I cannot use the correct word to express my thinking. Furthermore, I have to improve my "Chinese English", I always think my native language, Cantonese before I write an English essay. Therefore, my sentences will become "Chinese Englsih " . This is the main problem to me that I could not write an "A" essay. I hope someday I can totally avoid to use any "Chinese English" sentences in my English essay.

Writing is interesting but challenged. I cannot forget to remind myself the writing skill before I write an essay or letter. Taking ALP class is a good way to help me to improve my English writing. However, teachers just only can help me to learn the writing skills, I still have to improve it by myself. Having a good writing skill is not only useful for exam, but also useful for my future job. As a result, I need to thank you all of my writing teachers in ALP that they help me to improve my writing. I will never give up to achieve my goal----to write an "A" essay!!!!

My Favorite Movie----Grease

Seeing movie is a really good activity when I feel bored or nothing to do. I like see romance movie or funny movie. Actually, I have a lot favorite movies. But, my most favorite one is "Grease" which showed on 1978. It is a comedy and musical movie. The main actor is John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.

The movie is talking about a good girl Sandy and greaser Danny fell in love during the summer time. When they meet again, they're study in the same high school. However, because of their personality are different, it seems so difficult to them to get together. During the school time, there are many misunderst and problems between them. Luckily, because they are so love each other, they finally can go together and have a happy ending.

This movie used a funny plot and including many beautiful songs. The movie background is high school and to tell a love story in the school. The movie used many good songs in the movie, and those songs are so meaningful, they are related to the story. It helps audiences easy to understand the body of the flim and won't feel bored. Also, the prefect actor is the main reson that make the movie sucessful.

Even though it is a simple school love story, but it also has its own main idea behind the film. The film tell us that love is no standard different. If we love each other , no matter the personality or life background are totally different, we still can love together. Love is much powerful than anything. Therefore, the movie is going to tell the audience" To love bravely".

"Grease" is a wonderful and successful movie in America. It was famous in the world. It got nominated for Oscar and another 3 wins & 7 nominations . This movie is sutible for any ages people to see. Also, this movie is easy to understand , so that it is a good way to learn English through seeing this movie. As a result, I strongly recommend all of my friends to see this movie.
